A superset of Cultura de Servicio and Modelos Mentales.
This is the bar that we set for ourselves. Also see ‣ and‣.
Summary: We care deeply about what we do
<aside>
💡
Ownership: No “out of my hands”.
We take full responsibility for our work, help where we can and ensure problems get addressed rather than ignored.
</aside>
- We proactively try to solve problems and unblock others and ourselves.
- We get shit done. And we have the autonomy to do it.
- Waiting for a review? Do some research on future projects, go clean up something.
- Assess the impact and ask forgiveness rather then permission.
- We care more about the impact than the output.
- It’s not about how many PRs we are doing but about how much we improved someone’s life.
- We are ambitious and have urgency on what we do, we know that our biggest leverage is agility and speed.
Counter-balance: Does not mean that we should to try to fix the world and get burned, we should say no and balance it out, but, we at least let people know.

💡
Collaboration: No egos, no heroes.
We work as a team, share openly, and try to create a safe space for ideas and experimentations to thrive without fear or blame.
</aside>
- Discussions are about the subject (ideas, plans, etc) and not about the person.
- The only competition is with your past self.
- Nobody is out of reach for being questioned, be prepared to have arguments.
- Don’t expect your suggestions to be taken at face value, you gotta earn the trust.
- Counter-value: Sometimes, even disagreeing, you gotta trust and commit.
- Always ask before assuming (and when assuming, assume good intentions).
- We over communicate. We always give context or a heads up to people of interest.
- Always be kind.
Counter-balance: Does not mean that we always agree on everything and will live happily ever after as a fairy tail, it is expected that we will have friction but it must be respectful.

💡
Growth: We are always slightly uncomfortable.
We are curious, learn from mistakes, and continuously refine ourselves to get better every day.
